Senior Analytics Engineer

\#**Mission** ============= As our Engineer, your mission will be to build the bridge between our robust Data Lake and the business areas. You will be the key player in empowering our teams (Product, CS, Sales, Marketing) with reliable, accessible, and well\-modeled data to answer the company’s most critical questions. You will not only build pipelines and dashboards but also define best practices for data modeling and serve as the main technical point of contact for business analysts, helping Infleet make increasingly smarter decisions. \#**What you'll do day\-to\-day** ================================= * Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand critical questions and translate them into scalable data models. * Design, build, and maintain efficient ELT pipelines (Airflow \+ dbt \+ Python \+ SQL) transforming raw telemetry/video data from S3 into well\-modeled datasets in Athena/Glue. * Create strategic dashboards in BI tools and enable self\-service analytics for business teams. * Implement data quality standards, documentation, discoverability (data catalog) and governance. * Be the technical reference for analytics, mentoring 1 analyst and supporting analysts regarding sources, metrics and modeling decisions. * Explore opportunities for predictive models and advanced analysis (e.g., driving patterns, maintenance, cost optimization). \#**Hiring model** ================== Remote with a quarterly local gathering in the city of São Paulo/SP \#**What we need from you** =========================== \#**Prerequisites** ------------------- * **Proficiency in SQL and Python:** Ability to write complex and optimized queries for manipulating and analyzing large volumes of data. * **ETL/ELT Experience:** Hands\-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines using market tools like Airflow and DBT. * **Data Modeling:** Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques such as Star Schema, Snowflake, and Data Vault. * **BI Tools:** Experience with data visualization tools such as Metabase, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. * **Communication Skills:** Excellent ability to communicate with both technical and non\-technical profiles, acting as a “translator” between business areas. * **Proactivity and Autonomy:** Hands\-on profile, able to take initiative, build processes from scratch, and manage priorities in a dynamic environment. \#**Nice to have** ------------------ * **Experience with data transformation tools** such as dbt (Data Build Tool). * **Familiarity with cloud environments** like AWS and their respective data services Athena, Glue and others. * Basic understanding of **statistics and Machine Learning concepts.** * Interest or experience in the **IoT, logistics, telematics,** or B2B SaaS sectors.
