Senior Frontend Developer

**Senior Front\-End Engineer (Next.js \+ TypeScript)** **Location** : Remote (Brazil preferred) **About Tea** Tea is a fast\-growing American startup building a dating advice and safety app that’s already ranked \#1 in Lifestyle on the US App Store. Our global team is distributed, with most engineers currently based in Brazil. To keep collaboration smooth across time zones, we’re prioritizing new hires from Brazil. We’re expanding our web team to build modern, high\-performance web experiences powered by Next.js 15, TypeScript, and clean architecture principles. **Responsibilities** * Develop high\-quality Next.js pages and components from Figma designs. * Implement server\-side logic using Next.js Server Actions, API Routes, and Edge Functions. * Collaborate closely with designers and backend engineers to deliver polished, reliable user experiences. * Integrate securely with Nest.js APIs and handle data fetching on both client and server. * Contribute to our shared design system and component library. * Participate in daily standups, weekly engineering meetings, and 1:1 sessions with the Tech Lead for mentorship and technical alignment. **Qualifications** * 3\+ years of professional experience with React / Next.js. * Strong proficiency in TypeScript and component\-based architecture. * Solid understanding of Next.js App Router, Server Components, and Server Actions. * Experience implementing and debugging server\-side functions on Vercel (Edge / Node runtimes). * Familiarity with SSR, ISR, and revalidation strategies. * Skilled with Tailwind CSS or similar styling frameworks. * Experience with API integration and async data fetching (React Query, fetch, or Axios). * English B1\+ – able to read documentation and communicate effectively with English\-speaking teammates. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a distributed, async\-first team. **Nice\-to\-have** * Experience with Zod, React Hook Form, or schema\-based validation. * Familiarity with Vercel, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD workflows. * Prior experience at a high\-growth startup or product company. **Compensation \& Benefits** * Above\-market compensation (paid in USD). * Opportunity to grow as an engineer, learn from senior developers, and own product areas. * Work on one of the fastest\-growing lifestyle startups in the US, impacting millions of users. * Flexible hours.
