Applied AI Engineer

They are looking for a hands\-on Applied AI Engineer to own everything agentic and generative AI within their organization. As their in\-house expert, the selected candidate will design and build systems that integrate large language models into production, support their analytics platform, and lay the groundwork for a next\-generation, AI\-powered customer experience. They will deliver meaningful impact and have full visibility from day one. **What You’ll Do:** * Design and build production\-grade generative and agentic AI systems, from prompt design and model selection through to orchestration and deployment. * Fine\-tune and integrate third\-party models into their platform and customer workflows. * Develop and maintain pipelines, tools, and infrastructure to deliver reliable and scalable AI features. * Collaborate with the engineering team to deploy and monitor AI services in production. * Establish best practices for AI evaluation, safety, and continuous improvement. * Help define their AI technical strategy and roadmap. **What You Bring:** * Strong experience designing, building, and productionizing AI\-driven or agentic systems. * Deep understanding of LLM orchestration, context management, and prompt engineering. * Experience with cloud environments and monitoring or evaluating deployed AI services. * Experience working with APIs and SDKs from leading model providers. * Proficiency in Python and familiarity with backend integration workflows. * Comfort working in small, fast\-moving teams with limited technical oversight. * Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset. **Bonus Points For:** * Familiarity with modern frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or DSPy. * Experience with vector databases, embedding pipelines, or retrieval\-augmented generation (RAG). * Deep understanding of transformer architecture. * Fintech or data\-intensive SaaS experience. **What You’ll Get:** * The opportunity to define and build the AI foundation of a fast\-growing startup. * Competitive compensation. * Fully remote work model, with the opportunity to occasionally collaborate in person. * Fast\-moving, engaging environment with a team that values both ambition and fun. **Benefits:** * A fully remote position with a structured schedule that supports work\-life balance. * The opportunity to make a huge impact in an early\-stage company defining a new category in financial technology. * Two weeks of paid vacation per year. * 10 paid days for local holidays. **\*Please note our partner is only looking for full\-time dedicated team members who are eager to fully integrate within their team.**
