NodeJS AI Engineer

**Role** : NodeJS \& Typescript Engineer (AI) **Location** : Remote (EU, UK or Americas) **Compensation** : Dependent on experience **Overview** We are seeking a mid or senior NodeJS engineer to join the Employers AI engineering team. We're building AI employees for the employers of the future \- starting with Ava, our AI Recruiter, who you'll interview with as part of this application. We're a small, ambitious team based in London and San Francisco. We've already built the core product and are currently rolling out to our waitlist, but are looking for extra hands on deck and someone who can add some deeper AI experience to the team. **Requirements** * Proven experience in building AI products, agents, etc. * Previous experience in an AI startup * Deep understanding of LLMs, RAG, Vector DBs, Prompt Engineering, MCP, etc. * Confident in Typescript, Node, and Google Cloud, as well as AI tooling like Langchain, Vercel AI SDK or similar. * You seek ownership in your work, and are passionate about the product you're building. **Key Responsibilities** * Continue the development of our AI agents alongside our existing developers * Bring your experience in AI to help improve what we already have * Help make every update to our customers a 'wow' **Why Join Us?** 1\) Flexible, enjoyable work culture (check out the founders LinkedIn recommendations) 2\) Joint an exciting, fast growing AI product 3\) Make a significant impact on a product and potentially receive equity and a long term position (if you're interested in this)
