Role Overview: We’re looking for an  **Agent Engineer**  who wants to be at the sweet spot of AI \+ engineering. You won’t just tweak prompts, you’ll architect agents that connect to APIs, crunch live data, and deliver enterprise\-grade outcomes. Think of this role as half builder, half hacker: you’ll design prompts, wire up backends, test with real users, and ship agents into production that prove how AI can move the needle for enterprises. You will: * Design prompts and implement functions that guide our AI agents across  **voice, chat, and email** . * Connect agents to  **customer APIs, databases, and internal tools**  so they can execute real\-world tasks end\-to\-end. * Build and maintain  **internal tooling in TypeScript** , creating reusable components agents can share and build on. * Test with  **live data** , measure performance, and fine\-tune for accuracy, reliability, and speed. * Work  **directly with enterprise customers** : gather requirements, run demos, and iterate in real time. * Partner with  **Product, Engineering, and Customer Success**  to ship agents that are ready for production at scale. * Contribute to  **documentation, processes, and best practices**  that make AI Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in  **Computer Science or a related STEM field** . * Excellent  **English** , written and spoken\+ Spanish * Strong, hands\-on skills with  **APIs, backend logic, and system integrations** . * Solid programming skills;  **TypeScript**  experience is a strong advantage. * Previous exposure to  **technical, customer\-facing roles**  (integrations, solutions engineering, etc.) is a plus. * Familiarity with  **monitoring, dashboarding, or analytics tools**  (e.g., Datadog) is a bonus. * A  **problem\-solving mindset** , sharp attention to detail, and real passion for AI
