Principal AI Engineer at BairesDev We are seeking a visionary Principal AI Engineer to define and lead the organization’s AI strategy, architecture, and governance. This role will focus on enterprise\-scale AI system architecture, generative AI, LLM integration, and AI application development. You will set technical direction, establish standards, and ensure AI solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with long\-term business goals. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strategic leadership, driving innovation and mentoring teams across multiple AI initiatives. What You'll Do: \- Define and lead the enterprise\-wide AI strategy, including LLM integration, generative AI, and advanced AI applications. \- Architect and govern large\-scale AI systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability. \- Establish best practices, standards, and governance frameworks for AI model development and deployment. \- Collaborate with executive stakeholders, product leaders, and engineering teams to align AI initiatives with business strategy. \- Mentor, guide, and influence AI engineers and teams across multiple projects. \- Evaluate, recommend, and integrate emerging AI frameworks, tools, and platforms to drive innovation. \- Ensure enterprise AI systems meet the highest standards for security, compliance, and ethical responsibility. \- Shape the long\-term technical roadmap for AI adoption and enterprise\-scale deployment. What we are looking for: \- 10\+ years of experience in AI engineering, with expertise in AI system architecture and enterprise solutions. \- Proven track record in LLM integration, generative AI, and end\-to\-end AI application development. \- Strong background in software architecture design. \- Strong understanding of system security. \- In\-depth knowledge of performance optimization and large\-scale system design. \- Experience in designing and integrating distributed and scalable AI solutions, particularly in cloud environments. \- Skilled in relational and non\-relational databases. \- Ability to evaluate and select AI architectures and technologies, with a clear view of trade\-offs and long\-term impacts. \- Expert in managing CI/CD pipelines for AI and ML workflows. \- Advanced level of English.
