SQL Engineer

**About the Role** We’re looking for a highly skilled  **SQL Engineer**  to join our growing data team. As an SQL Engineer, you’ll work on optimizing queries, shaping data models, and delivering accurate and actionable reports that power business decisions. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, write, and optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability. * Perform query tuning and troubleshooting to ensure efficient data retrieval. * Understand, analyze, and manipulate data models to meet reporting and business needs. * Build customized reports and datasets from large\-scale data warehouses. * Model and deliver data outputs in formats such as CSV and Excel. * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to translate data requirements into efficient SQL solutions. **Required Technical Skills** * Strong SQL proficiency with hands\-on experience in performance tuning and query optimization. * Solid understanding of relational data modeling and database structures. * Proven experience working with  **Athena**  and  **PrestoSQL**  (required). * Familiarity with data extraction, transformation, and reporting best practices. **Ideal Profile** * Hardworking, proactive, and eager to learn new technologies. * Detail\-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. * Comfortable working independently in a fully remote setup. * Strong communication and problem\-solving skills. **Employment Details** * **Type:**  Full\-time, remote * **Location:**  Open to global candidates who can collaborate across time zones
