As a member, you'll develop scalable, reliable, and reusable services that are critical to Uber's global operations. Your work here will directly influence the performance and stability of our systems, ensuring that millions of transactions and data flows run smoothly every day. **Delivery** The Delivery team is focused on innovating and streamlining how products and services reach our customers. In this role, you'll contribute to building efficient and robust systems that support order processing, logistics, and real\-time tracking. Your contributions will help optimize the end\-to\-end delivery experience, making it more reliable and seamless for both drivers and customers. Mobility On the Rides Engineering team, we write code that ignites opportunities for millions of people every day. We are focused on making Uber's core ride sharing products faster, safer, and more reliable by building scalable software solutions for riders and drivers on our platform. We are crafting and building the most highly trafficked experiences in the Rider App, including the homescreen, messaging, and core trip flow. As we scale the number of ways riders can use Uber, we're partnering with UberAI to build Uber's first personalized surfaces that understand what riders want in real time.Our platform consists of a flexible, backend driven UI, that enables teams across Uber to reach Uber customers in the right context. We work closely with every team that builds in the Rider App including Transit, Micromobility, and UberEats to help them scale faster and reach more riders. As a Mobile Engineer you'll work across both product and platform features in the flagship Uber app. **Minimum Qualification** * Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field * \+6 years full\-time Software Engineering/Front End engineering work experience * Advanced to fluent English Skills **Technical skills** **Required** * Proven experience in building high\-quality UI for diverse audiences * Expertise in front\-end architecture design * Strong background in performance optimization at the code level * Demonstrated success in enhancing system observability, quality, and latency * Proficient in HTML, CSS, React.js, and GraphQL * Strong product and data\-driven mindset **Preferred:** * Experience with back\-end systems (Go, Python, TypeScript, etc.) * Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies * Familiarity with static typing systems **Please note:** this **hybrid** **position** is based in São Paulo, Brazil \- welcoming both local professionals and those open to relocating to São Paulo.
