Senior Back-End Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled **Senior Back\-End Developer** to help shape the next generation of our global E\-Commerce platform. You will join a collaborative engineering team focused on building robust, high\-performance back\-end services with the latest .NET technologies. This role offers the chance to work on challenging projects and drive innovation in a fast\-paced environment.   **Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and APIs using .NET technologies such as C\# and ASP.NET Core * Provide technical leadership by mentoring team members, conducting code reviews, and influencing architectural decisions * Work closely with product managers, front\-end developers, and stakeholders to deliver high\-quality software that meets business needs * Optimize back\-end systems for performance, reliability, and scalability to support demanding E\-Commerce workloads * Apply secure coding practices and ensure compliance with data protection standards * Diagnose and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments * Prepare and update technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and test plans * Support CI/CD pipeline development and contribute to modern DevOps practices   **Requirements** * Minimum 3 years of experience in back\-end development with C\# and .NET Core * Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud\-based applications on Azure or AWS * Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL, as well as NoSQL solutions like CosmosDB and MongoDB * Understanding of event\-driven architecture and messaging systems including Kafka and RabbitMQ * Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes * Experience with unit, integration, and automated testing frameworks * Proven experience working in Agile or Scrum teams * Fluent English skills, both written and spoken, at a B2\+ level or higher   **Nice to have** * Background in E\-Commerce platforms, including headless commerce and payment gateway integration * Knowledge of Domain\-Driven Design and Clean Architecture principles * Experience with performance monitoring tools such as Application Insights or New Relic * Exposure to DevOps practices * Experience with Java and Scala   **We offer** * International projects with top brands * Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers * Healthcare benefits * Employee financial programs * Paid time off and sick leave * Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses * Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000\+ courses * Global career opportunities * Volunteer and community involvement opportunities * EPAM Employee Groups * Award\-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn
