We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team at Siemens. In this role, you will lead a team of frontend developers, driving innovation and ensuring the highest quality in software delivery. You will play a crucial role in developing scalable, high\-performance UI components that meet the diverse needs of our clients across various tech stacks. **Key Responsibilities** **\- Team Leadership:** Mentor and guide a team of five frontend developers, overseeing their work and conducting regular reviews to ensure the highest quality of deliverables. **\- UI Component Development:** You will be spearheading the creation and optimization of over 40 scalable and flexible UI components. These components have demonstrated their ability to enhance application delivery performance across more than eight different teams at Siemens, working with a variety of technology stacks. **\- Research and Development:** Drive the R\&D efforts for new complex features and assess the architectural needs of the business. Utilize proof of concepts to validate and plan solution deliveries. **\- Design System Implementation:** Lead the development of a web component\-based design system tailored for Siemens, supporting frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular, Lit.js, and Vanilla JS. This includes the utilization of Stencil.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Sass, HTML, and CSS to create scalable, fast\-performing, and highly flexible components. **\- Client Communication:** Foster close communication with clients to fully understand their needs and translate them into actionable development tasks. **\- Technical Presentations:** Conduct technical presentations and lead meetings to convey complex technical ideas clearly to both technical and non\-technical stakeholders. **\- AI Integration:** Be tuned in the advancements in AI technology, exploring ways to integrate AI solutions that can enhance the performance and quality of our deliveries. **\- DevOps Knowledge:** Having knowledge of DevOps practices and monorepos is a plus. **\- Business and Technical Alignment:** Act as a link between business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring that deliverables align with strategic goals. **Qualifications** Proven experience in frontend development, with a strong portfolio of UI components. Expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular). Proficient in TypeScript, Stencil.js , Sass, HTML, and CSS. Strong leadership and mentoring skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Familiarity with DevOps practices is preferable.
