Senior Node.js Developer + SQL

**About The Opportunity** We are looking for a **Senior Engineer** with deep expertise in **SQL performance optimization and Node.js development** to join our team. This role is highly focused on database\-intensive applications where speed, scalability, and reliability are critical. **Responsibilities** Design and implement **high\-performance APIs** in Node.js (execution in milliseconds, not seconds). Write and optimize **complex SQL queries** , focusing on speed, scalability, and data integrity. Collaborate with the team to define **data models, indexing strategies, and schema changes** to improve overall system performance. Work closely with application logic to ensure **efficient database integration** . Implement **caching strategies** to reduce load and improve response times. Ensure system resilience and scalability in production environments. **Required Qualifications** Strong hands\-on experience with **SQL databases** (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server). Proven ability in **query optimization, indexing, stored procedures, and schema design** . Professional experience building **APIs with Node.js (JavaScript, not TypeScript)** . Solid understanding of **application performance tuning** . Experience with **AWS** (Lambda, RDS, etc.). Knowledge of **Kubernetes and Docker** (nice to have). Familiarity with caching techniques (Redis, Memcached, etc.). Ability to analyze and troubleshoot both **application logic and database performance issues** . **Nice To Have Skills** Background as an **Application DBA** or Developer with strong SQL focus.
