Experience the challenges, rewards and opportunity of working for one of the world’s largest providers of products and services to the global energy industry. **Job Duties** -------------- **Responsibilities** * Develop and maintain Python\-based applications and services with a focus on data analysis and visualization. * Write Python code using libraries like NumPy and Pandas for data manipulation and analysis. * Create and enhance interactive, real\-time dashboards and visualizations using Plotly and Dash. * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to deliver high\-quality solutions. * Optimize and refactor existing code to improve performance and scalability. * Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in applications and systems. * Stay updated with the latest trends in data visualization and Python development to continuously improve processes and products. * Maintain up\-to\-date knowledge of development tools and practices. **Qualifications** ------------------ * Completion of an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar discipline. * 2\+ years of experience in software development is preferred. * Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal. * Strong proficiency in Python programming. * Extensive experience with NumPy and Pandas for data manipulation and analysis. * Hands\-on experience in creating interactive visualizations using Plotly and building dashboards using Dash. * Experience with web frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django) is a plus. * Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and statistical analysis. * Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud environments (AWS, GCP) is preferred. * Solid understanding of version control tools (e.g., Git). * Problem\-solving mindset with excellent analytical and debugging skills. * Ability to work independently as well as in a team\-oriented, collaborative environment. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities** ------------------------------------ **Desired Experience and Skills** * Oil \& Gas industry experience nice to have. * Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or Scikit\-learn. * Knowledge of database systems such as SQL, NoSQL, and familiarity with database queries. * Prior experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process **KSA** General understanding of software development; Ability to use software tools and source code management tools effectively; Ability to learn new tools and techniques quickly; Effectively participate in discussions with team members; General understanding of product domain; Ability to work with distributed team effectively **Halliburton is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
