Senior Frontend Developer

We’re looking for a Senior Front\-End Developer with a strong foundation in modern web technologies to help us craft performant, scalable, and user\-centric digital experiences. You’ll play a key role in building and maintaining a hybrid SSR\-enabled front\-end architecture powered by React or Next.js, while collaborating cross\-functionally with design, product, and backend teams. Key Responsibilities * Develop and maintain responsive, device\-optimized user interfaces using React or Next.js, leveraging SSR/SSG for performance and SEO. * Integrate with a headless CMS (Contentful, Strapi, or Sanity) to support localization and rapid content iterations. * Build and extend reusable front\-end component libraries using Storybook (or similar) to ensure consistent design implementation. * Collaborate with designers in Figma to translate design systems into robust, maintainable UI components. * Work with the API Gateway / BFF (Backend for Frontend) layer to consume and aggregate APIs for multi\-channel delivery, including integrating with Drupal APIs. * Style components using Tailwind CSS and maintain scalable, accessible CSS organization. * Optimize build and deployment pipelines using Vite for fast, modern front\-end delivery. * Ensure code quality, performance, and accessibility across the stack. Qualifications * 8\+ years of experience in front\-end development building production\-grade applications. * Strong proficiency with React or Next.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript. * Experience working with headless CMS platforms (Contentful, Strapi, or Sanity). * Proficiency in modern styling tools like Tailwind CSS. * Familiarity with API gateways or BFF patterns for decoupled front\-ends. * Experience integrating with external systems (e.g., Drupal via REST or GraphQL APIs). * Solid understanding of UX/UI design principles and ability to work closely with design teams using Figma. * Hands\-on experience in performance optimization, accessibility, and testing. Nice to Have * Experience creating or maintaining internal design systems. * Knowledge of Storybook, Vite, and CI/CD pipelines. * Passion for emerging front\-end trends and developer experience improvements.
