Senior Product QA Engineer

We’re now looking for a Senior Product QA Engineer to help us turn our homepage \- one of the most strategic and high\-traffic products in the company \- into a world\-class, high\-performing experience. **The mission** Within the **Explore Tribe** , our goal is to deliver seamless, personalized, and reliable experiences (e.g., homepage, search, navigation) that millions of users rely on daily. Your mission will be to **establish a quality\-first culture** in one of the most critical product areas of Superbet \- ensuring that we can release confidently, move fast, and maintain exceptional reliability. You’ll build automated test coverage for business\-critical scenarios, implement quality gates and monitoring pipelines, and help define how the entire Explore tribe ships with speed and confidence. What you’ll do * Design and implement test automation frameworks that scale across multiple applications and services. * Design and implement comprehensive test automation solutions that encompass web applications, web services (microservices), and native apps. Ensure coverage across various testing types, including UI testing, API testing, and others, to support robust quality assurance practices * Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and designers to shift quality left \- catching defects early and embedding quality in our CI/CD pipelines. * Build synthetic monitoring and alerting for key user journeys (homepage load, personalization logic, etc.). * Define quality metrics (e.g., release health, flakiness, regression detection) and use them to drive continuous improvement. * Coach other engineers on test strategy, frameworks, and debugging best practices. Why this role matters * The Homepage is one of Superbet’s highest\-traffic and highest\-revenue surfaces. Quality here impacts millions of sessions per day. * You’ll be part of a culture that values experimentation, fast iteration, and engineering excellence \- not bureaucracy or QA bottlenecks. Signals we’re screening for * 5\+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, SDET, or Software Engineer with a strong focus on automation and quality at scale. * Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for frontend automation, and familiarity with at least one backend language to validate API and service integrations. * Proven experience building frontend automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, etc.) and executing end\-to\-end automation coverage across web and mobile. * Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines and using observability tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Grafana, Datadog, etc.). * Solid understanding of non\-functional testing \- including load, performance, and reliability checks. * Clear communication, curiosity, and collaboration across design, product, and engineering. * High proficiency in written and spoken English. * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Bonus points * Experience designing or scaling automation in event\-driven architectures (Kafka, AWS, Docker, etc.), ideally in a product environment. * Strong understanding of backend integration testing — REST/GraphQL APIs, contract validation, and data consistency across systems. * Hands\-on experience with BDD (Behavior\-Driven Development) and related frameworks. * Familiarity with Xray or similar test management tools for tracking automation coverage and traceability.
