Full Stack Engineer

**Job Title** Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Node/React/AWS) **Job description** GoVeme is building the digital layer for informal outdoor commerce such as the street and beach vendors, food trucks, markets and pop\-ups that move cities. We’re an early\-stage startup with a core product (Node.js backend \+ React web \+ Flutter mobile), and are getting ready for pilots in Brazil and the US. You’ll work directly with our CTO and CEO to enhance the product into a robust, secure and scalable product. What you’ll do * Own and evolve our backend \& infrastructure (Node.js, Postgres, AWS). * Take the lead on our payments integration (vendor onboarding, customer payments, payouts, refunds/chargebacks). * Work on architecture decisions, security, scalability, monitoring and CI/CD. * Collaborate on the web (React) and mobile (Flutter) apps to make core flows smooth and production\-ready. * Use AI tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, etc.) as leverage to move faster, but remain in control. * Be a true founding engineer: raise flags, propose improvements, and care about the product. - Must\-have experience * 8\+ years building production systems as a full\-stack engineer. * Experience creating software designs and architecture. * Solid hands\-on experience with AWS or similar cloud including scaling and security. * Some experience in UI/Frontend development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript). * Experience using AI coding tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, etc.) * Good written and spoken English. You’ll work daily with an international team. * Startup mindset: you work on features and problems end\-to\-end, make trade\-offs, and ship. Nice to have * Worked on marketplaces, delivery apps or fintech products. * Flutter (iOS/Android). Location \& collaboration * Remote, Brazil. * Work closely with our CTO and CEO (California, USA, Pacific Time Zone). * We are a small, focused team building something new. You will have a big impact on the product by being one of the first software engineers to join the team. Compensation * Senior PJ contracts with the option to transition to full\-time as we raise. * Competitive Brazilian senior\-level compensation \+ early equity for the right person. * The exact package will depend on experience and whether we start part\-time or full\-time.
