While this is optional, candidates who provide a video presentation will be given priority. **About The Role** As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining a monolithic Ruby on Rails application. You will collaborate with cross\-functional teams and oversee the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment. This role operates in a highly communicative and asynchronous environment, working closely with developers across different time zones. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential to ensure smooth collaboration and effective project execution. **Duties And Responsibilities** * Plan, architect, refactor, and optimize the company’s products. * Produce clean and efficient code based on specifications. * Create and maintain automated tests. * Maintain server and system infrastructure. * Participate in daily written standups, monthly team check\-ins, and occasional group meetings. * Review other developers’ code in detail, suggest architectural improvements, and ensure security and scalability. * Create and maintain written technical documentation. * Communicate asynchronously via Slack, Asana, and GitHub. * Be available occasionally outside regular hours for critical bug fixes. * Review, create, and maintain project planning documentation. * Regularly evaluate development processes and propose improvements. * Work closely with the Product team to manage deadlines and set accurate expectations. **Qualifications / Experience** * Excellent communication skills. * 5\+ years of Ruby on Rails experience. * Experience with Git version control. * Experience with databases and ORM frameworks, especially PostgreSQL. * Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform) is a plus but not required. * Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. * Formal qualifications (e.g., BA in Computer Science) are a plus but not mandatory. * Familiarity with Agile methodologies. * Experience in a test\-driven environment. * Strong attention to detail. * Excellent problem\-solving skills. **Salary:** USD 2,000/month If this opportunity sounds good to you, **send us your resume!**
