Cloud Solution Engineer

**Job Description** As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will:        * Design, develop, and deploy cloud\-native applications and services using Java and modern AI\-assisted development tools.        * Lead the creation of scalable, secure, and performant solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).        * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams including architects, product managers, and customer stakeholders to define technical solutions aligned with business goals.        * Integrate AI models and APIs into enterprise cloud applications, enhancing automation, decision\-making, and user experiences.        * Conduct code reviews, provide technical leadership, and mentor junior engineers.        * Support cloud migration projects, including re\-platforming and re\-architecting legacy workloads to OCI.        * Optimize cloud resource usage, focusing on performance, cost\-efficiency, and operational excellence.        * Participate in customer workshops, technical deep dives, and proof\-of\-concept (PoC) initiatives.        * Stay updated on emerging technologies in Java, AI, and Cloud Engineering, contributing to internal knowledge sharing. **Responsibilities** Required Qualifications        * 5\+ years of hands\-on software development experience with Java (Java SE or EE).        * Strong understanding of object\-oriented design patterns and best practices.        * Experience with AI\-assisted development tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Oracle Code Assist, or equivalent LLM\-based coding platforms).        * Solid experience with cloud computing platforms, preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, Azure, or GCP.        * Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform, etc.).        * Working knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).        * Excellent problem\-solving skills and ability to work in a fast\-paced, agile environment.        * Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. **Preferred Qualifications**        * Hands\-on experience deploying AI/ML models in production environments.        * Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.        * Experience with Oracle Cloud services such as Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes (OKE), Oracle Functions, and Oracle AI Services.        * Familiarity with REST APIs, GraphQL, or gRPC.        * Oracle Cloud Infrastructure certifications (Associate or Professional level) are a plus. **Qualifications** Career Level \- IC3 **About Us** As a world leader in cloud solutions, Oracle uses tomorrow’s technology to tackle today’s challenges.
