Join us at Landis\+Gyr, **where we manage energy better!** **Role Purpose** The Applications Developer is responsible for leading advanced technical work in the analysis, design, development, testing, maintenance, and documentation of complex applications that support the organization’s business systems. **Key Responsibilities** **Application Design \& Development:** * Lead the design of integrated systems, including logical models, process flows, and critical data elements. * Define database requirements and create designs for complex systems. * Ensure security policies are embedded in application architecture, including access roles and disaster recovery plans. * Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Microsoft technologies: SharePoint, Power Platform, Azure, .NET, and full\-stack applications. * Provide training and support for newly developed or customized systems. * Plan and manage transitions from legacy systems to new platforms. **Business Solutions \& Stakeholder Engagement:** * Collaborate closely with business application owners to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions. * Analyze business processes and assess functional and solution requirements. * Deliver basic project management and third\-level support for assigned applications. **Technical Competencies** * Strong communication and contact skills (Advanced) * Analytical thinking and problem\-solving (Advanced) * Project and change management (Basic to Advanced) * Deep expertise in Microsoft SharePoint (Expert) * Proficiency in Power Platform, .NET, JSON, SPFX (Expert) * Experience with MS SQL Server, IIS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and PowerShell * Ability to build strong relationships with business units and external partners **Qualifications \& Experience** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (technical certifications also considered) * Strong experience as a backend/frontend developer in international environments * Strong team player with proven collaboration skills across departments and vendors * Fluent in English (written and spoken) We're committed to shaping a better future for everyone. **\#EnergizeYourCareer** and join us on our journey towards a greener tomorrow.
