**Software Engineer III – Big Data (Backend)** **Remote – Brazil (São Paulo)** **Compensation 2,200 usd monthly** We’re looking for a **Software Engineer III** with strong backend engineering experience and hands\-on expertise in **Big Data systems** to join to our team. In this role, you’ll build user\-facing features at massive scale, working across backend development, distributed systems, data processing, and product\-driven engineering. **What You’ll Do** * Contribute to the full product lifecycle: requirements, development, A/B testing, and launch validation. * Collaborate closely with product, design, and client teams to deliver end\-to\-end functionality. * Write reliable, maintainable, and high\-quality code supported by automated testing. * Work with world\-class engineers on high\-impact, large\-scale systems. **What We’re Looking For** * **3–5\+ years** of backend engineering experience (Java strongly preferred; Python a plus). * Hands\-on experience with **Big Data technologies** : Hadoop, Spark, MapReduce, or other distributed processing frameworks. * Strong understanding of backend fundamentals—REST APIs, storage, caching, distributed systems. * Ability to clearly explain system designs, architecture, and product implications. * Strong communication and collaboration skills. * Experience building consumer or business\-facing products at scale. * Nice to have: Power BI or Big Data tooling exposure, automation experience.
