Senior Software Engineer (Android)

What you'll do * Assist in setting the technical direction for our Android app. * Ensure the health and performance of the app consistently exceeds customer expectations. * Empower and coach team members and colleagues across the organization to achieve their best. * Lead development on impactful features that benefit our 13m\+ users. * Utilize A/B testing to rapidly iterate and enhance user experiences. * Continuously modernize our Android codebase while meeting product roadmap goals. * Elevate code quality by increasing unit test coverage. * Collaborate closely with product teams to define and refine new features. Who you are * 4\+ years of experience building, testing, releasing, and maintaining Android apps in Java and Kotlin. * Proficient with Jetpack Libraries. * Advocate for clean code, solid architecture, and strong testing practices. * Able to take a holistic product view and work within cross\-functional teams. * Experienced in setting up and maintaining CI/CD infrastructure to deliver value continuously. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Motivated to learn and teach through collaboration. * Substantial experience with Git in a team environment. * Skilled in working with relational databases. * Comfortable with RESTful APIs and MVVM or MVI architecture patterns.
