Senior AI/ML Platform Engineer

The **AI Platform Engineer** is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining model infrastructure and the services that support product applications and features within the organization. They are also responsible for enhancing the productivity of AI Engineers by reducing the effort required to replicate and deploy models through the development of specialized tool **Responsibilities:** * Ensure the quality consistency of models developed by data scientists to deliver value to Shape's clients. * Accelerate value generation by data scientists through automation and the development of new tools. * Ensure a smooth and scalable integration between all components of Shape's machine learning\-enabled products. * Help deliver models using advanced machine learning techniques for clients across various industries and at scale. * Support the automation of the machine learning lifecycle, including training, testing, monitoring, and deployment. * Research and implement new tools to improve model management and overall data science team productivity. * Support running production environments to ensure the value generated by our machine learning\-enabled products. * Design and develop innovative machine learning systems that power our data products. **Requirements:** * Solid software engineering background, knowledge of the best coding practices, and experience delivering code for products. * Is proficient with the Python language, and, preferably, at least one other language (e.g., Scala, Java, C\+\+, Bash). * Knowledge of Machine Learning, and its relevant tools and frameworks (e.g., scikit\-learn, Tensorflow, MLflow), also experience with models’ deployment to production environments and related tools (e.g., Docker, Kubeflow). * Learns fast and can work in a lean, autonomous, high\-performance team. Writes code to solve problems targeting the product evolution, and not only the current state of the business. We expect people to be results\-oriented, not task\- oriented. * Fosters an open and highly collaborative work environment. * **English proficiency;** **Differential:** * Hands\-on experience building, deploying, and scaling the use of Machine Learning models to drive business impact.
