**Requirements:** *Must\-haves* * 7\+ years of software development experience * 2\+ years of proven technical leadership in remote\-first teams * Startup experience * Solid experience building scalable server\-side applications in Node.js environment using technologies such as Express.js, Nest.js, Bull, Redis, and PostgreSQL * Proficiency in building advanced user interfaces using technologies such as React.js, Tailwind, Next.js, and Radix UI * Proficiency with TypeScript * Solid experience with different testing approaches (unit, integration, end\-to\-end, visual, etc.) * Solid experience with containerization strategies (Docker) and the AWS Cloud * Solid experience with non\-coding\-strict practices such as Requests for Comments (RFC) and Postmortems * Solid experience in management practices (delegation, planning, leading, mentoring) * Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English * Solid experience contributing to hiring processes (interviewing and evaluating candidates) * Curiosity and ability to experiment, iterate, and execute rapidly * Strong problem\-solving skills with a resourceful and independent approach * Ambition and eagerness to learn, grow, and make meaningful contributions *Nice\-to\-haves* * Previous experience building software for hiring platforms * Previous experience working in teams with rotational support role strategies * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent *What you will work on* **This is an internal position to work on Strider's team.** * In this role as a Lead Software Engineer, you'll drive meaningful impact by building and maintaining outstanding software products while closely collaborating with the leadership. * Your responsibilities will include technical leadership, participating in hiring processes, mentoring team members, and contributing to the evolution of innovative product strategies.
