QA Engineer

What You’ll Do * Execute functional, regression, and system integration tests * Design BDD test scenarios and create test plans based on financial\-market rules * Ensure full requirements coverage with end\-to\-end traceability between scenarios, evidence, and functionalities * Validate data using SQL, with a strong focus on data integrity, consistency, and cross\-system accuracy * Test and analyze API behavior, including requests, responses, and edge conditions * Create JIRA tickets with clear descriptions, structured evidence, and proper documentation * Track defects throughout the lifecycle, perform retesting, and ensure timely resolution * Manage and document test execution status (Passed, Failed, Blocked, etc.) * Prepare and deliver Status Reports with key quality metrics * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the full development lifecycle What You Bring * Advanced English (spoken and written) * Advanced knowledge of QA processes within agile development squads * Strong understanding of testing methodologies: functional, regression, system integration * Hands\-on experience designing BDD test scenarios * Solid understanding of financial market business rules, including: + Pricing, redemptions, and fees + Settlements + Corporate actions + Reconciliations * Strong SQL skills for data validation and analysis * Knowledge of API architecture and hands\-on experience with API testing * Strong focus on performance, data integrity, and analytical evaluation * Proven ability to maintain full traceability from requirements through test coverage * Experience creating structured, well\-documented evidence\-backed JIRA tickets * Experience with end\-to\-end defect management * Experience managing test scenarios, execution status, and structured reporting * Experience preparing and delivering quality metrics in status reports * Understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies * Clear, objective communication with both technical and business stakeholders * Strong analytical mindset with a high attention to detail * Proactivity and a strong sense of urgency * Ability to challenge requirements and anticipate testing impacts * Collaboration, maturity, and accountability within squad environments Tools Experience * JIRA * SharePoint * Excel * Postman * Databases (general experience across SQL\-based systems) Legal \& Hiring Information * Exadel is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to inclusion across minority, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, and more * Reasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions * Please note: this job description is not exhaustive.
