**Job Description** The Developer, Power Apps specializes in creating custom business solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. This role leverages their expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to develop applications, automate workflows, and provide actionable insights through data visualization. **What You Will Do:** * Develop and maintain applications using Microsoft Power Apps. * Automate business processes and workflows using Microsoft Power Automate. * Create data visualization and reporting solutions using Power BI. * Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver custom solutions. * Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services and third\-party applications. * Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and secure. * Provide technical support and training to users. * Stay updated with the latest features and updates in the Microsoft Power Platform. **What You Will Need:** Education and Experience * Bachelor’s degree in business or a STEM field is preferred. * Three (3\) or more years of experience in BI Development. * Power App Development experience required. * Experience in the Azure suite, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Synapse preferred. **Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities** * Highly proficient in Microsoft Power Platform development * Highly proficient in SQL * Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills consistent with a client group, including senior managers \& executives. * Attentive to details * Highly proficient in translating complex concepts to technical and non\-technical stakeholders. * Work with the data warehouse team to identify data dependencies and data requirements. * Experience in writing DAX queries and functions. It Would Be Nice If You Had * Azure Data Fundamentals preferred. * Azure Enterprise Data Analyst Associate preferred. * Power App/Platform Analyst Associate and/or Certified Business Intelligence Professional preferred. * Agile/Scrum Certifications preferred. **Reporting Relationships:** Reports to Senior Manager, Business Intelligence and has no direct reports. **About Us** We set out more than 160 years ago to promote the security of life and property at sea and preserve the natural environment.
