About the job This is an onsite role that requires English language skills, API, and UI testing. NOT A MANUFACTURING JOB. There is no possibility of a remote or hybrid schedule, conveniently located near the Morumbi\-Claro metro station and Morumbi Shopping for an easy commute. In this role, you’ll help shape the quality of major international game and systems projects. The ideal candidate thrives in a hands\-on engineering environment, communicates comfortably in English, and enjoys working with international teams to push projects forward. We are looking for a QA Engineer/Quality Analyst to join our Quality Assurance team located in Sao Paulo Brazil. This role focuses on creating high\-quality test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on business and technical requirements. You will collaborate closely with developers in daily scrums while reporting directly to the QA Team Manager. This is a key role in ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of quality before reaching millions of players worldwide. Key Responsibilities Test Strategy \& Planning: Translate product requirements into structured test plans and test cases with acceptance criteria that others can later automate against. Provide accurate test effort estimates during sprint planning and maintain a prioritized defect backlog. Validate deployments across all environments, including stable, beta, integration, and production. Analyze system logs to identify errors, document bugs, and perform root cause analysis when necessary. Proactively identify risks and issues, driving creative solutions to mitigate them. Apply a solid understanding of the defect lifecycle during verification and validation phases. Perform manual validation of APIs (e.g., Postman, RESTful frameworks) and SDK integrations, ensuring versioning and backward compatibility. Support UAT and front\-end UX testing, ensuring the product aligns with end\-user needs. Apply QA practices to eCommerce workflows (shopping cart, checkout, payment gateways), including key security and privacy requirements. Conduct front\-end usability, responsiveness, and accessibility testing across browsers and devices. Data Analysis \& Debugging: Use logs, API traces, and database queries to isolate, verify, and debug defects. Deliver clear, structured test documentation and reports to support future automation. Independent Delivery: Work effectively in a contractor\-style capacity: self\-directed, dependable, and able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Requirements 5\+ years of experience creating test plans and test cases from requirements. Strong background in Software Quality Assurance (SQA) principles and processes. Hands\-on experience with TestRail and Jira. Strong understanding of API testing. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to work effectively in English (minimum intermediate level required). Solid organizational skills and a sharp eye for detail. Nice\-to\-Have Skills Experience with eCommerce testing. Knowledge of authentication systems. Familiarity with Java or C\# (not required). Experience with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines. Additional Information This role is based in Sao Paulo Brazil. The position will create test plans, test cases and suites that will be used by quality assurance team. Reports to the QA Team Manager while participating in daily scrums with the development team.
