We are seeking a Senior Scientific Developer to work on global initiatives of Intelligent Engineering providing solutions to the Energy industry based on Physical and Mathematical Modeling and AI. While primarily focused on evolving our current solutions, you'll also collaborate with your colleagues to provide a scalable platform that automates operations, supports smarter decisions, and saves our customers’ money. Take a look in more details about this position! **Job Responsibilities:** · Develop integrated data and physics\-driven models that power real\-time solutions, enhancing safety and reducing costs for customers worldwide; · Develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software together with the team; · Write your software documentation to contribute with the product legacy; · Participate in the technical meetings with the team and with stakeholders; · Contribute on product roadmap discussions; · Help on the quality assurance process, through code reviews, automated tests and stakeholders feedback; · Work on fast\-paced projects using state of the art technology and applied research. **Education, Knowledge, Hard Skills \& Abilities** · English speaker; · Skilled in applying mathematical modeling and software engineering to simulate physical phenomena and develop solutions that enhance industrial operations; · Technical leadership (Novice \- Beginner experience); · Advanced (Applied theory) in: Java or C\+\+, Python; · Advanced (Applied theory) in: Numerical Methods, and Scientific Software and Visualization; · Advanced (Applied theory) in: Mathematical and Physical Modeling; · Automated testing; · Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) or equivalent self\-taught experience. **Bonus Points** · Experience in addressing complex challenges in the context of O\&G; · Interest and ability to learn other technologies and coding languages as needed; · Familiarity with the HTTP protocol, JSON and Web APIs; · Familiarity with Linux; · Knowledge about compilers and JVM; · Comfortable use of version control systems (git, in our case). **Soft Skills** · Customer focus · Critical thinking · Grit: intense determination to get things done! · Continuous learning · Innovation · Autonomy · Teamwork Tipo de vaga: Tempo integral, Efetivo CLT Pagamento: R$11\.000,00 \- R$12\.000,00 por mês Benefícios: * Assistência médica * Assistência odontológica * Seguro de vida * Vale\-alimentação * Vale\-refeição * Vale\-transporte
