**About The Opportunity** This company is committed to verifying identities at scale to help businesses connect with honest people online, processing millions of verifications annually and aiming to be the standard for trust online. * Mission: To be part of the Engineering team that builds the software powering Veriff, focusing on cracking the online identity crisis in a scalable way. * Team: The Senior FullStack Engineer will join the End User Platform/Product Platform team, which owns the SDKs that capture critical identity verification data and provide a frictionless user experience (UX). * Role: To bridge the gap between client\-side innovation and backend scalability, with a focus on creating a truly backend\-driven platform that ensures an exceptional user experience across millions of verifications. * Impact: To help protect honest people online by ensuring millions of verifications are secure and efficient. **Responsibilities** * Build Full\-Stack Platform Solutions: Design end\-to\-end features from UI components to backend services, ensuring seamless integration and backend\-driven flow orchestration. * Adapt \& Deliver Where Needed: Flexibly shift focus between frontend optimization and backend scalability based on team priorities and project needs. * Create Reusable Systems: Build platform\-scale components and APIs that enable self\-service capabilities, reducing manual configuration across the stack. * Bridge Technical Domains: Connect frontend SDK requirements with backend service capabilities, ensuring smooth data flow and system coherence. * Drive Technical Excellence: Apply best practices in both frontend performance and backend architecture, and mentor team members in your areas of strength. * Own End\-to\-End Features: Take responsibility for complete feature delivery, from database design to user interface, collaborating across teams and verticals. **Required Qualifications** * Full\-Stack Systems Experience: Prior experience building and scaling applications across the entire stack, with the ability to dive deep into either frontend or backend as needed. * Versatile Technical Skills: Solid proficiency in both modern JavaScript/TypeScript for frontend (React) and backend languages (Node.js, Python, or Go), with the flexibility to context\-switch effectively. * API \& Integration Expertise: Experience designing RESTful APIs, working with WebSockets, and creating robust service\-to\-service communications. * Security\-First Mindset: Understanding of security principles across the stack (browser security, XSS prevention, API authentication, data encryption). * Platform Building Mentality: Ability to identify patterns, abstract solutions into reusable components, and think in terms of systems rather than individual features. * Performance \& Scale Awareness: Understanding of optimization techniques for both frontend (Core Web Vitals, bundle sizes) and backend (database queries, caching, service architecture). * Adaptable Problem Solver: Comfortable with ambiguity and able to learn new technologies quickly based on project needs. * Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant engineering field. **Nice To Have Skills** The following experience would be a bonus: * Media \& Device APIs: Experience with WebRTC, MediaStream APIs, getUserMedia, or other browser APIs for camera/media handling. * Real\-Time Systems: WebSocket implementations, event\-driven architectures, or message queuing systems. * Client\-Side ML: Familiarity with running ML models in browsers (TensorFlow.js, ONNX, WebAssembly). * Cross\-Platform SDK Development: Experience building SDKs or libraries consumed by other teams or clients. * Computer Vision or Image Processing: Any background in image quality assessment or document capture optimization. *Avenue Code reinforces its commitment to privacy and to all the principles guaranteed by the most accurate global data protection laws, such as GDPR, LGPD, CCPA and CPRA.
