Senior Frontend React Developer at Crewfare

In this role, you will help build robust, scalable, and high\-performance web applications using React and TypeScript as part of our cutting\-edge travel management platform. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to create intuitive user interfaces that redefine how groups manage travel. **What You’ll Do** * Lead the design and implementation of complex frontend features using React and TypeScript * Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver end\-to\-end solutions * Set and enforce standards for component structure, state management, and testing * Optimize performance for modern browsers and devices * Mentor junior and mid\-level engineers through code reviews and architectural guidance * Stay current with frontend technologies and help guide the team’s technical direction **What We’re Looking For** * Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal). * Working hours overlapping with US Eastern Time. * 5\+ years of experience building web applications, with at least 3 years focused on React * Strong proficiency in  **TypeScript**  and modern JavaScript (ES6\+) * Deep understanding of React patterns (hooks, context, performance tuning, etc.) * Comfortable architecting and scaling frontend applications * Familiarity with REST APIs and/or GraphQL * Experience with testing libraries such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress * Strong sense of UX and attention to detail * Excellent communication and collaboration skills **Bonus Points For** * Experience with  **Next.js**  (SSR, SSG, API routes, etc.) * Familiarity with frontend performance tools like Lighthouse, Web Vitals, or Chrome DevTools * Experience with CI/CD workflows and frontend build tools (Vite, Webpack, Turborepo, etc.) * Design systems or component library contributions (Storybook, Chromatic) **Team and Culture** * You’ll be part of a small, close\-knit team of developers, working collaboratively on key projects. * You’ll interact frequently with other developers and stakeholders across the company to integrate features and solutions across multiple products. * We value curiosity, innovation, and a willingness to learn from each other. * Our team is dedicated to fostering a culture of inclusion and continuous improvement. **Why Join Us?** * Impactful Work: Help build a platform that simplifies and enhances group travel for thousands of users. * Growth Opportunities: Access to training budgets, mentorship, and career advancement programs. * Collaborative Environment: Work cross\-functionally with talented teams across the organization. * Flexible Environment: Remote\-friendly work culture with flexible hours. **Location** * This position is international, and we are looking for candidates who are excited to work in a global environment.
