Senior Lead Data Engineer LatAm (Hybrid)

**What You Will Do** As part of the Business Enablement Solutions team, the Sr. Lead Data Engineer plays a key role in optimizing data pipelines and integrations across BI reporting environments for the EEMEA and LATAM regions. This position focuses on supporting JD Edwards (JDE) and Clarity BI systems, enabling consistent, clean, and unified data for operational and analytical purposes. The role also involves developing lightweight application solutions (e.g., Power Apps) to improve business outcomes. Acting as an SME in JDE data structures and integrations, the engineer partners closely with commercial, IT, and analytics teams to enhance data accessibility and performance. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design, build, and optimize data pipelines integrating ERP (JDE) systems with Clarity BI tools for unified reporting across EEMEA and LATAM. * Collaborate with analytics teams to deliver structured, report\-ready datasets that meet operational and strategic needs. * Lead the implementation of ETL/ELT processes, ensuring high data quality, proper mapping, cleansing, and transformation logic. * Act as SME for Clarity pipeline testing and support the LATAM rollout, ensuring alignment with EEMEA standards. * Troubleshoot data flow issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement scalable, long\-term solutions in partnership with IT. * Automate data ingestion and transformation processes using Azure\-native tools to increase efficiency and minimize manual tasks. * Support application development with tools like Power Apps, improving data collection and process efficiency across business functions. * Maintain thorough documentation of data structures, lineage, and architecture while ensuring governance and compliance standards are met. **What you need:** **Required:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field, with relevant experience in data engineering and architecture * Fluent in English * Intermediate level of Spanish * Strong experience with ERP systems, including data extraction and integration * Proficiency in SQL, Databricks, Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI * Previous experience in Data Engineering roles **Preferred:** * Previous experience in the medical devices industry Stryker is a global leader in medical technologies and, together with its customers, is driven to make healthcare better.
