Data Engineer

**About the Role:** We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI Engineer to join our team. This role is essential for driving our innovation at the intersection of large language models (LLMs) and advanced data analytics. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in software engineering, a keen understanding of LLM evaluation methodologies, and experience with modern data analytics architectures, particularly semantic layers. **Responsibilities include but are not limited to;** * **LLM Evaluation and Performance:** Design, implement, and analyze rigorous evaluation metrics and pipelines for large language models, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for various use cases. * **Semantic Layer Development:** Work closely with data science and engineering teams to integrate and leverage Cube Core for the development and maintenance of our analytics semantic layer. * **Model Integration and Deployment:** Engineer robust and scalable software solutions for integrating LLMs into our production systems. * **Analytical Tooling:** Develop and maintain tools for capturing, processing, and analyzing data generated by LLM interactions and general system usage. * **Collaboration:** Partner with product managers and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver high\-quality, impactful features. **Requirements:** * **Software Engineering:** Strong proficiency in Python with significant experience in software development practices. * **LLM Understanding:** Demonstrated understanding of large language model principles, architectures, and evaluation techniques (LLM Evals). * **Analytics Semantic Layers:** Experience working with or developing semantic layers for analytics, with familiarity in tools like Cube Core being a significant advantage. * **Data Analysis:** Experience in data manipulation, cleaning, and analysis using relevant libraries and frameworks. **Preferred Requirements:** * **LLM Experience:** Prior hands\-on experience in fine\-tuning, training, or productionizing Large Language Models. * **Advanced Analytics:** Experience with complex analytical projects, including advanced statistical methods or machine learning models. * **Cloud Platforms:** Familiarity with major cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure). * **Semantic Layers** : Cube Core, dbt, LookML **Our interview process includes, but is not limited to the following:** * Excel knowledge and Typing Test **We offer a competitive salary and benefits based on ability level, including:** * Base salary DOE * Unlimited vacation policy * Monthly phone/internet and food stipend * Health insurance coverage * Professional Development Program * Remote work (Must be based in Latin America) **About WITHIN \& Brkfst.io** **WITHIN** is the world's first Performance Branding company, partnering with some of the biggest brands in the world to drive business growth through innovative marketing strategies.
