It also integrates smoothly with existing tools and processes so teams can stay coordinated and work more productively as they grow. **About the role** Looking for a skilled Backend Software Engineer who wants to design, build, and maintain the core functionality of our SaaS platform. You’ll work on APIs, services, and data models to ensure systems are scalable, reliable, and performant. This role involves solving challenging production issues, participating in technical reviews, and contributing to high\-quality architecture and code. **What You’ll Do** * Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and data models. * Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues. * Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to maintain code quality and architectural standards. * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions. **What You'll Bring** * 5\+ years of software engineering experience in production environments. * Strong experience designing and implementing scalable, distributed SaaS architectures. * Expertise with PostgreSQL, Redis, and background job processing at scale. * Solid understanding of AWS and modern DevOps practices (Terraform, Containers, CI/CD) * Excellent problem\-solving, debugging, and communication skills. **Nice\-to\-Have** * Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Datadog, New Relic) * Familiarity with search index systems (OpenSearch, Elasticsearch)
