This is the role for someone who enjoys shipping features, improving reliability, and keeping delivery smooth and predictable. You’ll work across Ruby on Rails, NET/C\# services, and lightweight front\-end landing page updates, ensuring continuity, clarity, and maintainability as we evolve our product. This role will suit an engineer who cares about code quality but stays pragmatic — focused on outcomes, clean handovers, and enabling the team around them to move quickly without creating long\-term complexity. What you'll do * Develop and maintain APIs and backend services in Ruby on Rails and C\#/.NET. * Implement front\-end updates to landing pages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and occasional React changes). * Support the team in unblocking delivery, improving reliability, and maintaining a consistent cadence of releases. * Ensure code is well\-structured, documented, and easy for others to pick up. * Contribute to CI/CD, code reviews, and general engineering best practices. * Collaborate with product and engineering to clarify requirements and deliver small iterations frequently. What success looks like * API and UI changes are delivered reliably and with strong engineering hygiene. * The team experiences continuity, fewer bottlenecks, and predictable delivery. * Code is easy to understand, test, and build on after your work is complete. * Small UI and API integrations move quickly without sacrificing quality. * You help maintain a calm, organised delivery environment \- not chaos or tech debt. Who are you * Strong experience with C\# / .NET building APIs and backend services and Ruby on Rails. * Solid front\-end skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and familiarity with React. * Ability to work across the stack with a pragmatic, delivery\-focused mindset. * Strong communicator who thrives in a small, fast\-moving team. * Experience writing clean, well\-tested, maintainable, well\-documented code. * Comfortable owning tasks end\-to\-end in a remote environment.
