About the Role: * **Role: Software Engineer** * **Location: Brazil (Remote)** * **Employment Type: Contract** **Key Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and maintain APIs using Apigee (preferred), KrakenD, or AWS API Gateway. * Implement scalable and secure API architectures using REST, gRPC, and GraphQL. * Develop backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and frontend applications using JavaScript/TypeScript with React or Angular. * Work with cloud environments such as AWS or GCP for deployment, scaling, and monitoring. * Utilize CI/CD pipelines (ADO Pipelines), GitHub, Docker, and Kubernetes to manage code, build processes, and deployments. * Write robust unit, integration, and automated tests using tools such as Cucumber and Mockito. * Contribute to cross\-organization API standards, documentation, and best practices. * Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high\-quality software solutions. **Required Skills \& Experience** * **5\+ years of overall professional experience.** * **Java (Spring Boot):** * **API Development:** * **API Management (Apigee/KrakenD/AWS Gateway): 3 years** * **Cloud Platforms (AWS/GCP):** * **JavaScript/TypeScript:** * **React/Angular:** * **Strong understanding of API protocols and architectural patterns (REST, gRPC, GraphQL).** * **Proficiency with CI/CD, GitHub, Docker, and Kubernetes.** * **Experience writing automated tests (Cucumber, Mockito).** * **Ability to write clear documentation and contribute to API governance efforts.**
