Katapult works with PMF\+ startups and businesses in the United States with a team\-augmentation model. That means we either become or augment their current product engineering team. **Role Overview** ----------------- As a Senior Full Stack AI Engineer, you will work closely with the founder to take new and existing features from development to production. You will be responsible for delivering near term product improvements, stabilizing the platform, implementing QA processes, and contributing to the build out of next gen AI video and script generation tools. This is a hands on engineering role with significant ownership over performance, feature quality, and reliability across the platform. **Responsibilities:** * Lead full stack development using AWS\-hosted services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and Fargate. * Build, improve, and ship new product features with a focus on performance and user experience. * Implement regression testing, QA automation, and edge case coverage to ensure product stability. * Integrate with LLM, image, and video generation APIs including OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, and OpenRouter. * Maintain and extend platform components built in Node.js, TypeScript, React, and Vue. * Collaborate with the product team to prioritize the roadmap and deliver revenue\-generating features. * Support the development of an innovative AI Filmmaker module that transforms scripts into storyboards and auto\-animated outputs. **Requirements:** * 5\+ years of experience as a full stack engineer working with cloud\-based applications. * Strong expertise in AWS services, Docker, Node.js, and TypeScript. * Professional experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React and/or Vue. * Hands\-on experience integrating LLMs or media generation APIs. * Ability to own features end\-to\-end from concept to production deployment. * Experience setting up QA automation and regression testing. * Comfortable working in fast\-paced, startup environments with shifting priorities. **Nice to Have:** * Experience with Python or Rust\-based services. * Background in media tech, creative tools, or real\-time rendering pipelines. * Familiarity with Supabase for authentication flows. **What we offer:** ------------------ We believe in empowering our team with flexibility, competitive benefits, and a supportive work environment.
