Descrição da Vaga

**Overview** We’re looking for a **Senior Full‑Stack Engineer with a strong backend focus** to build reliable, scalable systems that power critical workflows across our healthcare platform. You’ll work across architecture, backend services, integrations, and data flows \- while also contributing to front‑end features when needed. This is a hands‑on, product‑focused engineering role where clarity in communication, ownership, and customer empathy matter just as much as technical depth. Roles \& Responsibilities * Architect, build, and maintain backend services using Node.js, PostgreSQL, and modern service patterns. * Design reliable APIs and integrations that support healthcare operations, internal tools, and user\-facing functionality. * Develop and optimize server‑side logic, data models, and infrastructure to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability. * Implement secure, maintainable backend architectures that follow best practices for error handling, logging, and monitoring. * Contribute to front‑end development using React or similar frameworks when needed. * Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, engineering, and operations teams to turn user needs into practical engineering solutions. * Integrate with third‑party APIs, external systems, and internal services. * Write clear documentation, share progress openly, and participate in code reviews. * Own the full development lifecycle \- scoping, technical planning, delivery milestones, and quality assurance. * Monitor and improve system reliability, performance, and operational health. **Requirements** * 5\+ years of full\-time experience in full‑stack or backend development. * Strong expertise in Node.js, PostgreSQL, and building production\-grade backend architectures. * Experience designing RESTful APIs, data models, and integrations. * Comfortable working with front‑end technologies such as React. * Strong understanding of cloud environments (AWS preferred), CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation. * Experience with caching, queues, ORMs, and scalable system design. * Strong product intuition \- you focus on how engineering decisions impact users and business outcomes. * Excellent written communication skills and willingness to work transparently in a remote, asynchronous environment. * Strong debugging, problem‑solving, and ownership mindset. Nice\-to\-Haves * Experience working in healthcare, staffing, operations\-heavy, or marketplace platforms. * Exposure to AI‑powered systems, RAG pipelines, or workflow automation (though not required). * Experience with infrastructure\-as\-code, observability tooling, or event‑driven architectures. Cultural Qualities We Value * Customer‑centric thinking: You aim to deeply understand how our healthcare users work and enjoy building solutions that make their daily workflows easier. * Writing clarity \+ working in the open: We operate remotely; sharing context, decisions, and updates clearly is essential. * Ownership \& project management: Engineers are responsible for driving projects end‑to‑end \- from scoping to delivery to iteration.
