Principal Machine Learning Engineer at BairesDev We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Machine Learning Engineer to define and lead the ML strategy, architecture, and governance across the organization. You will oversee model deployment, MLOps, pipelines, feature engineering, and model serving at enterprise scale. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strategic vision, mentoring teams, setting standards, and driving innovation in machine learning solutions across projects and business units. What You'll Do: \- Define and lead the machine learning strategy and architecture across the organization. \- Oversee the design, deployment, and monitoring of ML models and pipelines at enterprise scale. \- Ensure performance, scalability, reliability, and security of ML models and systems. \- Establish best practices, standards, and governance for ML model development, deployment, and monitoring. \- Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers, and product teams to align ML initiatives with business goals. \- Mentor and guide ML engineers and teams, fostering knowledge sharing and technical excellence. \- Evaluate and integrate emerging ML frameworks, tools, and technologies to enhance model performance and reliability. \- Influence enterprise\-wide decisions on ML adoption, MLOps practices, and AI\-driven innovation. What we are looking for: \- 10\+ years of experience in machine learning, MLOps, model deployment, ML pipelines, model monitoring, and feature engineering. \- Strong background in software architecture design. \- Strong understanding of system security. \- In\-depth knowledge of memory management and performance optimization. \- Experience in designing and integrating distributed and scalable solutions, particularly in cloud environments. \- Skilled in relational and non\-relational databases. \- Ability to choose between different architectures/technologies, understanding the pros and cons of each. \- Expert in managing CI/CD pipelines. \- Advanced level of English.
