Senior Back End Engineer (Python)

Hams is expanding rapidly across multiple industries in the region and we are looking for deep backend engineering talent to strengthen our platform core. **Role Description** You will design, build, and scale backend systems that power real\-time AI voice \+ NLP automation at enterprise scale. You will translate execution requirements into services, pipelines, and production\-grade compute that can handle concurrency, streaming, and LLM\-powered agents operating in real enterprise environments. You will work closely with AI, infra, and workflow product teams — and shape how our platform handles end\-to\-end execution (from streaming to state management to integration through APIs and microservices). **You will** * Design backend services powering AI voice / LLM automation workflows * Build and optimize high\-performance APIs and microservices * Implement low\-latency execution patterns for streaming and stateful agents * Own reliability, error handling, performance tuning, and resilience under scale * Build integrations between services and external enterprise systems * Collaborate with infra to containerize, deploy, and scale backend components * Document service behaviors, payload contracts, and operational assumptions * Participate in design reviews and translate platform requirements into execution **Qualifications** * At least 5\+ years backend engineering experience with Python * Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field * Strong experience building distributed backend systems and APIs * Experience with asynchronous Python \& concurrency control patterns * Experience designing microservices and working with containerized deployments * Experience integrating services with external APIs / systems * Experience building production\-grade services that run under real load * Strong debugging / profiling skills and observability mindset (metrics, traces, logs) * Ability to reason about architecture tradeoffs, latency, performance, and scaling **How to Apply** We review candidates strictly through our application form: https://form.asana.com/?k\=yE2HX1zQr8rh77JA5LWmkw\&d\=1210838775195077
