Sr. Software Engineer

**Software Developer – Enterprise SaaS (PHP \& Python)** We at Softensity are looking for a **Software Developer located in LATAM / Europe** to join an Agile team working on a large **enterprise SaaS platform** . This role is focused on **maintaining and improving a legacy system** , resolving customer\-reported issues, and ensuring platform stability, with opportunities for incremental enhancements. **What you’ll do** * Maintain and enhance legacy SaaS applications built primarily with **bare\-metal PHP** * Troubleshoot and resolve production issues reported by customers * Build and maintain **RESTful APIs** using PHP and Python * Work with **AWS\-hosted** applications and Docker\-based environments * Collaborate closely with **Product, QA, and Engineering** teams in Agile ceremonies **What we’re looking for** * Strong experience with **PHP** (including non\-framework / core PHP) * Backend experience with **Python** * Experience building and maintaining **REST APIs** * Background supporting **enterprise, web\-based applications** * Comfortable working in **AWS** and **Docker** environments * Proactive, collaborative, and problem\-solving mindset **Nice to have** * Some exposure to **Symfony** * Familiarity with **Java** or event\-driven architectures 💡 Ideal for engineers who enjoy **deep problem\-solving, legacy systems, and production stability** while contributing to meaningful improvements. **Why Join Us?** We are passionate about top quality talent and giving our team members the tools they need for them to keep on growing and learning.
