The ideal candidate can independently design, build, test, and implement data products of various complexity with minimal guidance. **Requirements:** 4\-6 years of experience as a Data Engineer with ETL using SQL At least 2 years Insurance Background – Ideally P\&C, flexible for insurance in other areas Health, Life if upskilling is possible **Responsibilities:** * Understands how to effectively use core tools for Data Analytics including Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Python and SQL Software, Canonical models * Responsible for acquiring, curating, and publishing data both on prem and in the cloud for analytical or operational uses for moderate scenarios. * Ensures the data is in a ready\-to\-use form that creates a single version of the truth across all data consumers, including business/technology users, reporting and visualization specialists and data scientists. * Utilizes skills to translate business analytic requests/requirements into design, development, testing, deployment, and production maintenance tasks. Works independently with various technologies from big data, relational and non\-relational databases, cloud environments, different programming languages and various reporting tools.
