Overall Purpose of Role We are looking for a Senior Front\-End Engineer specialising in React with 5\+ years of professional experience. You will take ownership of designing and delivering scalable, maintainable, and performant front\-end applications. Beyond coding, you’ll set best practices, mentor junior engineers, and work closely with design, product, and back\-end teams to deliver seamless experiences Why join? * Direct impact: you’ll play a key role in evolving the front end of an established SaaS product used by real customers * Autonomy: influence architectural decisions and tooling choices * Growth: opportunities to progress as the team scales **Skills And Competencies \- Must Haves** * Expert in JavaScript (ES6\+) and TypeScript * Deep expertise with React (hooks, context, state management, component architecture, performance optimisation) * Strong knowledge of CSS and responsive design principles * Proficient in accessibility (WCAG standards) and cross\-browser compatibility * Testing experience: unit, integration, and end\-to\-end **Optional positives** * Experience with Mantine UI library * Experience with Zustand for state management * Familiarity with React Query and Axios **Qualifications And Experience** * 8\+ years of professional front\-end development experience, with at least 5 years focused on React in large\-scale applications * Track record of building and deploying production\-grade React applications * Experience mentoring developers and contributing to engineering culture * Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross\-functional teams * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience) 12pm to 8:30pm Mon\-Fri (GMT). 20 days holiday per year. You work as a contractor and are responsible for your own tax. You need a min 20 MB broadband line, and your own PC/Laptop and headset.
