Enterprise Application Developer

One of our clients, is looking to engage a global team of consultants to help with the development and maintenance of Salesforce. This team is made up of a small team of technologists whose responsibilities include, among other items, leading the development and maintenance of\~13 Salesforce applications that support various Tax Teams of our client, including the Portfolio Management Team. We are a Consulting firm and we are looking for consultants based in: Sao Paulo, Brazil; Mexico City and San Jose, Costa Rica; You will be hired as Independent Contractor in a B2B model as a consultant professional.  The Technology Development Support team will be made up of a mix of 4\-6 consultants globally in these different roles: Senior Enterprise Application Developer, Senior Integration Specialist, Enterprise Application Developer and QA/Functional Test Specialist. **What you will work on** We’re looking for a **Mid\-Level Enterprise Application Developer** to help build and enhance **platform\-based solutions** that support **tax, finance, and accounting operations** . This role is ideal for someone who enjoys **hands\-on configuration, workflow automation, data management, and reporting** , and wants to continue growing their technical depth within enterprise platforms like **Salesforce** . You’ll work closely with business and technical teams to deliver **practical solutions that streamline processes and improve operational efficiency** . **What You’ll Deliver** * Declarative applications that support daily business operations * Automated workflows that reduce manual effort and errors * Approval processes and routing logic across teams * Clear, actionable reports and dashboards * Well\-tested, documented, and maintainable solutions * Measurable improvements in efficiency, data quality, and visibility **Why Join This Role?** * Work on enterprise solutions used by 2,000\+ users * Gain exposure to complex business processes in tax and finance * Grow your skills in automation, analytics, and platform design * Learn from senior developers and architects * Make a visible impact through solutions that improve how teams work **What You’ll Do** * Build and enhance custom applications and declarative solutions * Configure objects, fields, validations, and business logic * Design and implement workflow automation, approvals, and notifications * Develop modern UI components, custom pages, and user\-friendly experiences * Create reports and dashboards for different stakeholder groups * Support data loads, migrations, and data quality controls * Troubleshoot issues and continuously improve existing solutions * Document solutions, test cases, and user guides **What you will bring** * Core Experience (Required) * 3\+ years of experience developing on enterprise application platforms * Hands\-on experience with Salesforce, especially declarative development: * Flows * Validation Rules * Formula Fields * Approval Processes * Strong understanding of workflow automation and process optimization * Experience building reports and dashboards * Basic to intermediate experience with custom code and scripting * Ability to translate business requirements into platform solutions * Exposure to other platforms (Dynamics 365, HubSpot, Zoho, Mendix, Appian, etc.) * Experience with analytics tools (CRM Analytics, Tableau, Power BI) * Familiarity with system integrations and data exchange concepts * Experience working in Agile / Scrum environment * Education \& Certifications * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience) * Salesforce Administrator or App Builder Certification – preferred * Interest in continuing certification and platform specialization * **English language Proficient level (Speaking, listening and writting)** **What you can expect** Compensation commensurate with qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.
