Lead SAP ABAP Developer

We are seeking an experienced **Lead SAP ABAP Developer** to join our team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP solutions, ensuring they align with business objectives and technical standards. You will collaborate with cross\-functional teams to deliver high\-quality results and play a key role in guiding and mentoring your team members.   **Responsibilities** * Lead the design and development of SAP solutions using ABAP and related technologies * Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions * Develop and optimize custom programs, enhancements, and interfaces in SAP systems * Build and maintain applications using the ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP) * Implement and manage OData services for integration with external systems * Utilize AMDP and Business Object Processing Framework (BOPF) for advanced development tasks * Work with SAP IDOC for data exchange and integration scenarios * Guide the team in making local design decisions and ensure alignment with overall project goals * Provide technical expertise and support during the development lifecycle, including troubleshooting and debugging * Mentor and manage development team members to ensure high performance and adherence to best practices   **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience * At least 5 years of relevant experience in SAP development * Minimum 1 year of experience leading and managing development teams * Proficiency in ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP) * Hands\-on experience with AMDP and Business Object Processing Framework (BOPF) * Strong knowledge of OData services and SAP ABAP development * Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform and SAP IDOC integration * Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions * Capability to make informed design decisions and guide the team effectively * Fluent English skills, both written and spoken, at a B2\+ level or higher   **Nice to have** * Experience with SAP Fiori and Web Dynpro ABAP * Proficiency in Portuguese   **We offer** * International projects with top brands * Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers * Healthcare benefits * Employee financial programs * Paid time off and sick leave * Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses * Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000\+ courses * Global career opportunities * Volunteer and community involvement opportunities * EPAM Employee Groups * Award\-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn
