Please follow us on LinkedIn and Twitter@Netskope. **About the role** *Please note, this team is hiring across all levels and candidates are individually assessed and appropriately leveled based upon their skills and experience.* The API Protection Team is responsible for accelerating support for SaaS apps across Netskope's CASB offering. The team is responsible for designing and implementing a scalable and elastic architecture to provide protection for enterprise SaaS application data. This is achieved by ingesting high volume activity events at near real\-time and analyzing data to provide security risk management for our customers, including data security, access control, threat prevention, data loss prevention, user coaching and more. We focus on key abstractions across the integration pipeline: Authentication/Authorization, REST APIs, webhooks, and more. We use popular programming languages and cloud technologies in our stack: Golang, Python, Kubernetes, Spinnaker, Jenkins, Docker, Redis, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, and more! **What's in it for you** * As a member of this team you will work in an innovative, fast\-paced environment with other experts to build Cloud\-Native solutions using technologies like Kubernetes, Helm, Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger (open tracing), persistent messaging queues, SQL/NO\-SQL databases, key\-value stores, etc. You will solve complex scale problems, and deploy and manage the solution in production. If you are driven by high\-quality, high\-velocity software delivery challenges, and using innovative and cutting edge solutions to achieve these goals, we would like to speak with you. * As a member of this team you will work cross\-functionally to build state\-of\-the\-art cloud platform test automation to support our growing portfolio of API Protection solutions. **What you will be doing** * Contribute to building a flexible and scalable automation solution * Develop and automate release engineering and security review processes. * Participate in the on\-call (only during business hours) rotation to triage production issues. * Identify and communicate risks about our releases. * Own the release and be a customer advocate. * Be able to own and make quality decisions for the solution. * Help create and implement quality processes and requirements * Develop expertise in our cloud security solutions, and use that expertise and your experience to help design and qualify the solution as a whole * Work closely with the development and design team to help create an amazing user experience * Automating complex test suites * Developing test libraries and coordinating their adoption. * Owning and making quality decisions for the solution. **Required skills and experience** * 5\+ years of experience including 2\+ years of SDET experience with cloud environments * Strong Java or Python (or equivalent scripting) programming language skills. Golang is a plus * Knowledge of Jenkins, Drone, Spinnaker, or any other CI system. * Experience testing distributed systems * A proponent of Strong Quality Engineering methodology. * Strong knowledge of Linux systems, Docker, Kubernetes. * Experience building automation frameworks * Experience with in\-memory databases like Redis * Experience with Databases, SQL and NoSQL (MongoDB or Cassandra) a plus * Bonus points for experience with REST API * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Comfortable with ambiguity and taking the initiative regarding issues and decisions * Proven ability to apply data structures and algorithms to practical problems. **Education** * BSCS or equivalent required, MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred \#LI\-NN1 Netskope is committed to implementing equal employment opportunities for all employees and applicants for employment.
