Engineer – (Python/TypeScript)

We’re a team of builders who care deeply about urning complex problems into simple systems that **last** and **help customers.** For this role, we’re looking for an engineer who enjoys working close to real\-world impact: someone hands\-on, pragmatic, and comfortable collaborating across teams while shipping high\-quality code. **What You'll Be Doing:** * Collaborate with engineers and leaders to design and evolve APIs and services that power Lending products. * Work on a cross\-team product, partnering closely with folks from Lending and OpenFinance to keep delivery aligned and consistent. * Discuss and shape architecture strategies focused on simplicity, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency. * Write and maintain production code in Python and TypeScript, with a stronger focus on Python, while using both in day\-to\-day work. * Lead engineering best practices around automated testing, observability, metrics, and continuous improvement. * Dive deep into troubleshooting: investigate and resolve production incidents, identify root causes, and implement long\-lasting fixes. * Help grow the team through mentorship, code reviews, and technical guidance. * Actively contribute to CloudWalk’s engineering\-wide initiatives. **What You Need To Succeed:** * Experience operating critical production systems and working with major cloud providers. * Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and practical experience with ORMs. * Proficiency in Python and solid fluency in TypeScript. * A strong quality mindset: automated tests, CI/CD, observability (logs/metrics/traces), and reliability culture. * Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders. * Advanced English skills for internal communication within a diverse, multinational team. * Nice\-to\-have: familiarity with Brazil’s financial ecosystem and/or experience with collections/credit products. **Join us at CloudWalk,** where we’re not just engineering solutions; we’re building a smarter, AI\-driven future for payments and credit together.
