Job Title: Python Backend Engineer (Production Support \& Configuration) Location: Full Remote Languages: Portuguese \& English (Required) Employment Type: Contract Job Description •We are seeking a Mid–Senior Python Backend Engineer to support and enhance large\-scale, schema\-driven delivery and distribution platforms. The ideal candidate has strong experience in production support, configuration management (YAML/JSON), and Python automation, with a solid troubleshooting mindset and attention to operational excellence. •This role requires close collaboration with cross\-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery operations, fast incident resolution, and safe, well\-documented changes through PR\-based workflows. Mandatory Skills \& Qualifications •YAML/JSON (Production\-grade): Safe authoring and refactoring, strict structure adherence, and change hygiene. •Git \& PR workflows: Clean commits, review discipline, conflict resolution, and controlled promotions. •Observability \& Log Analysis: Ability to trace failures across pipeline stages, correlate identifiers, and interpret logs/metrics. •Schema \& Validation Mindset: Interpreting schema/tooling errors and maintaining compliance. •Python: Debugging and enhancing existing scripts and automation with targeted, low\-risk fixes. •Databases (SQL): Querying for production investigations, data validation, and outcome confirmation. •Production Support Fundamentals: Incident handling, root\-cause analysis, mitigation, and regression verification. •Jinja Templating: Understanding template\-driven generation and making safe, minimal changes. •Strong communication skills in Portuguese and English.
