Java Developer

Job Title: Java Developer **Location:** Brazil Remote About the Role We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to join our engineering team in Brazil. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high\-quality Java\-based applications, working closely with cross\-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions. Responsibilities * Design, develop, test, and maintain Java applications * Write clean, efficient, and well\-documented code * Participate in system architecture and technical design discussions * Develop and consume RESTful APIs * Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance * Collaborate with product managers, QA, and other developers * Follow best practices for software development, security, and scalability * Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) * Strong experience with **Java (8\+)** * Experience with **Spring / Spring Boot** * Knowledge of **REST APIs** , **Microservices architecture** * Experience with relational databases (e.g., **PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle** ) * Familiarity with **Git** and version control workflows * Understanding of **Agile/Scrum** methodologies * Strong problem\-solving and analytical skills
