Senior Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled **Senior Data Engineer** with advanced expertise in **Google BigQuery**, **Python**, and **Apache Airflow** to deliver robust and scalable data pipeline solutions. This role calls for a seasoned engineer with superior knowledge of data modeling, orchestration, and cloud\-based platforms, capable of driving innovative development while ensuring continuous platform enhancement. **Responsibilities** * Architect, implement, and enhance complex data pipelines using Python and Apache Airflow * Define and optimize BigQuery schemas, tables, and high\-performance SQL transformations * Establish and enforce strategies for data accuracy, consistency, and scalability across pipelines * Develop high\-standard, reusable Python modules for advanced data processing and orchestration * Establish and maintain robust monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms for mission\-critical pipelines * Collaborate with stakeholders to shape data strategies and ensure alignment with evolving business priorities * Diagnose, resolve, and prevent complex issues in data pipelines and infrastructure * Elevate documentation standards and establish best practices for scalable data engineering workflows **Requirements** * 3\+ years of experience in Data Software Engineering or similar roles * Proven expertise in Google BigQuery, with advanced knowledge in SQL performance tuning and complex data modeling * Extensive experience with Python in the development of resilient and maintainable data systems * Advanced expertise with Apache Airflow for building and managing sophisticated workflows * Comprehensive knowledge of cloud\-native data ecosystems (with emphasis on GCP) * In\-depth understanding of advanced ETL/ELT frameworks and modern data warehouse architectures * Strong expertise in version control systems (e.g., Git) and robust CI/CD deployments * Demonstrated ability to architect clean, reusable, and performant code * Exceptional analytical thinking and a meticulous approach to solving high\-complexity problems * Strong communication skills with the capacity to influence technical and business discussions * Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English (B2 level or higher) **Nice to have** * Hands\-on experience with advanced GCP tools, such as Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and Dataflow * Deep understanding of data validation frameworks and quality management principles * Proficiency in building systems to support advanced analytics or machine learning solutions * Implementation experience with Agile or Scrum project structures
