Our client has multiple online platforms providing spiritual guidance on love, relationships, and life. They offer a vast portfolio of over 20 brands in the spiritual and emotional wellness space. You will be the primary architect and driver of quality for the mobile ecosystem. We require a focused expert to take the existing mobile automation capabilities from a functional baseline to a world\-class, cloud\-native operation. You will be a key individual contributor responsible for ensuring the mobile applications are resilient, performant, and flawlessly deployed. REQUIREMENTS: * 6\+ years of hands\-on experience in a Software Test Automation or similar role, specifically focusing on mobile app platforms. * A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. * Strong knowledge of Appium for both iOS and Android. You should have a proven track record of maintaining and improving mobile frameworks at scale. * Expertise in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Firebase, etc. * While mobile is your focus, you should be comfortable with Selenium or Playwright to help unify the broader quality strategy. * Strong knowledge of Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Python. * Understanding of functional testing of web and/or mobile applications with a substantial knowledge of testing methodologies \& practices. * Experience leveraging AI tools to optimize the QA lifecycle. It includes using AI to assist manual teams in generating comprehensive test cases and to accelerate the development, maintenance, and optimization of E2E automation scripts through AI\-augmented coding tools. * Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum principles and a proven ability to thrive in that environment. * Experience defining and executing performance/load testing strategies using tools like JMeter, k6, Gatling, or similar. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. You must be passionate about working with others and about explaining complex technical concepts clearly. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Collaborate with the Mobile App team during the sprint cycle to design and implement automated regression tests for new features on both iOS and Android. * Deep dive into the existing Appium and BrowserStack\-based framework to improve its architecture, maintainability, and execution speed, integrating AI\-powered tools to drive significant gains in testing velocity. * Partner with DevOps and Engineering to migrate mobile test execution into a modernized AWS environment, leveraging cloud\-native tools to optimize cost and performance. * Establish a mobile performance testing baseline, utilizing tools to monitor resource consumption, API latency, and app responsiveness under load. * Enhance the reporting via BrowserStack and internal tools to provide the mobile team with transparent, real\-time insights into mobile build health. You will analyze, debug, and triage test failures, reporting clear and actionable bugs and tasks to the mobile team. * Lead the technical migration and evolution of the mobile automation from its current state into a modernized, Azure CI/CD pipeline, ensuring faster feedback loops and greater developer autonomy. * Take ownership of the Appium\-based framework, implementing sophisticated patterns to improve test stability, reduce flakiness, and broaden the functional coverage. * Play a pivotal role in the "Manual to SDET" initiative, coaching the manual QA team members to contribute meaningfully to the mobile automation suite and fostering a culture of technical excellence. * Beyond functional testing, you will spearhead mobile\-specific API, performance, and load\-testing initiatives to ensure the app scales and handles high\-traffic events seamlessly.
