Our client offers a comprehensive suite of billing, payments, and software solutions for legal, accounting, and other professional services firms, including consulting, architecture, and engineering. *The candidate will collaborate with cross\-functional teams to ensure the scalability, security, and efficiency of database systems. The required overlap is from* ***4:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. EST (11:00 \- 19:00 UA).*** REQUIREMENTS * 5\+ years of professional experience in database design and development using Microsoft SQL Server (2012/2016/2019\). * Advanced knowledge of T\-SQL, database functions, indexing, and query optimization. * Experience with SSIS for creating ETL solutions and handling complex data integrations. * Strong understanding of database performance tuning, execution plan analysis, and troubleshooting database\-related issues. * Familiarity with data modeling concepts, schema design, and normalization techniques. * Hands\-on experience with data visualization tools like Power BI to develop interactive and actionable dashboards. * Solid understanding of database security, roles, and permissions. * Experience working with Azure SQL Database or other cloud\-based database systems (preferred). * Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. NICE TO HAVE * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. * Microsoft Certification(s) such as MCSA: SQL Server or Azure Database Administrator Associate. * Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or frameworks like .NET to support database\-related development. RESPONSIBILITIES * Design, develop, and maintain robust database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server to meet business needs. * Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex T\-SQL queries, stored procedures, user\-defined functions, views, and triggers. * Design ETL workflows and data pipelines using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) to integrate data from various sources. * Analyze and improve database performance by implementing appropriate indexing strategies, monitoring execution plans, and resolving query bottlenecks. * Develop and maintain database schemas, ensuring adherence to normalization principles and updated data models. * Develop data visualization and reporting solutions utilizing tools like Power BI to deliver clear insights into business metrics. * Lead efforts to ensure data integrity, consistency, and security throughout the database environment. * Assist in database testing, debugging, and troubleshooting during application development phases. * Work closely with business analysts and key stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into technical designs. * Document database designs, workflows, and ETL processes. Ensure database standards and best practices are followed. * Plan and execute database backup, restoration, and recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.
