Cloud Engineer, Infrastructure, Professional Services, Google Cloud (English, Portuguese or Spanish)

**Please submit your resume in English \- we can only consider applications submitted in this language.** ### **Minimum qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. * 6 years of experience architecting and deploying scalable, secure infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), IaC (Infrastructure as Code), DevOps, and CI/CD processes. * Experience designing and implementing cloud enterprise solutions for including Professional Services or Technical Consulting experience. * Experience coding in one or more general purpose languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C, or C\+\+), including data structures, algorithms, and software design. * Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese or Spanish fluently to engage with local stakeholders. ### **Preferred qualifications:** * Possession of a Google Professional Cloud Certification, such as Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud Network Engineer, or Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer. * Experience with cost optimization (FinOps), observability (logging and monitoring), and resource management on Google Cloud Platform. * Experience in data center exit and public cloud migration to GCP and in AI agents to automate, expedite, and de\-risk infrastructure migrations. * Familiarity with standard IT security practices such as Identity and Access Management (IAM) and high\-availability networking solutions (e.g., VPC, Cloud Firewall). * Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration technologies, specifically orchestrating containerized workloads via Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). * Excellent project management and communication skills. **About the job** ----------------- The Google Cloud Consulting Professional Services team guides customers through the moments that matter most in their cloud journey to help businesses grow.
